RZE Adventurer - Kirk Lepiten

 
To be a talented creative in one medium is a feat in itself, but to be an established creator, skilled in multiple mediums of the visual arts requires years of dedication and relentless commitment. Since the inception of RZE, we have had the opportunity to have Kirk Lepiten help us on our journey as a photographer and graphic designer, driving the creative direction of the brand and testing our watches as an adventurer in urban and outdoor environments. 

Based in Ontario, Canada, Kirk can be found on Instagram as @kirk.lepiten or @captkirklucas where you can see his signature aesthetic and moody flatlays which have inspired countless creators to emulate his iconic flavour which is now pervasive in the world of EDC shots. Kirk’s stunning flatlays are what led to his foray into product photography, starting with the very first RZE Resolute; since then, almost every photo for our collection launches have been captured by Kirk. 

In a blink of an eye and thousands of shutter clicks later, Kirk has travelled as far as Iceland to put his skills and our watches to the test, immersing himself and the Aspirare in the frigid cold of Svínafellsjökull to capture the spirit of adventure. It is because of his constant drive to further hone his skills and challenge himself that embodies our brand identity and together we are #assembledforadventure.

While some may say to be a 'professional', an individual must be in a paid occupation or belong to an association, but when it comes to an adventurer - who is to say or define whether the reward is enough to make your efforts worthwhile. In our opinion, to be an adventurer is to consistently seek challenges and exciting experiences; regardless of the field, we believe that if you are committed, dedicated, persevering to improve a little each day, and taking your passion seriously, you too are a professional. It is because of this perspective that we have worked with Kirk to create a unique logo that will be exclusively engraved on the caseback of the 30 pieces of the 10/10 Limited Series, symbolizing the pursuit and reward of adventure. It is to the professional adventurers that we dedicate the Resolute Pro.

It is through Kirk's art and photography that we've been able to communicate to you, our community and fellow adventurers why we do what we do at Team RZE. Although we design and build tough titanium tool watches that meet the demands of those who challenge their watches to withstand extreme conditions, we acknowledge that some of our users aspire to go further, climb higher and dive deeper, are inspired by adventurers in our community, but are yet to take that giant stride. The names of our collections are more than words: Endeavour, Resolute, Aspirare, Valour, Fortitude, and Ascentus - they are symbolic characteristics of adventurers we respect and within each of our watches, we hope to capture a bit of the spirit of adventure and identity of our brand. It's in our dial colours, ranger eyes, accessories and stickers because we aspire to create a community of adventurers bonded by Medallion Yellow.

Over the last three years, we've launched several collections and are proud to say our watches have now gone on thousands of adventures with all of you.
