TAKE A GIANT STRIDE
United StatesThis is a flat-out great watch that has lived on my wrist since it arrived. I’m surprised at how different a titanium watch feels – it’s definitely robust, but sometimes I forget I'm wearing a watch. The bracelet is comfortable and hugs my wrist. It also balances well and stays where I want it instead of tending to rotate like some of my other watches. In spite of wearing it almost all the time, even in the shop and while working outdoors, there are no scratches on the case or bracelet. The only exception is the case back, which seems to have a few scuffs from the clasp. I have the white dial version, which is drop dead gorgeous and highly legible during the day. I only have two complaints. The lumed dial is so bright that, after a few minutes, it completely overwhelms the lume on the hands. I really do use the GMT function and I find it comforting to be able to quickly read local and home time in the middle of the night when I’m stuck in an unfamiliar hotel room. Sadly, that just doesn’t work. I would prefer an unlumed dial. The second minor complaint is that the outside links on the bracelet feel a bit sharp – a little bevel would nice. Overall, this is an amazing watch at a great price. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. My version runs very well (single digit seconds per day), feels great on the wrist, and looks amazing. If you put out a version with a true GMT movement, I’d buy another one! Probably with a black dial, though…
